The old Faux Fur shaders were made in DS 1.8 and just didn’t work right in DS3. Also, I’ve learned a few things about displacement since then. I’ve been playing around with an updated version, and a range of effects from something like velvet or velour to a fluffy pom-pom look.
I’m still messing around with settings, but getting closer. In the process of many test renders, I am reminded that dialing back some UberEnv light settings will mess with the furry results.
