Annual Cranberry Fest Pilgrimage

Yup, it’s that time of the year and tomorrow I’m off to the wilds of northern Wisconsin to hang out with the parents, enjoy the fall color, and eat fair food. 😋

I’d hoped to get a few more things accomplished at the blog but…that didn’t happen. Gardening and house stuff has sucked up almost all my fun time these past few weeks.

Halloween is coming up, but to be honest, I’m not feeling too creatively inspired this year. Maybe something will strike an idea, maybe not.

In the meantime, I’m considering going to RDNA and begging a vendor — Mortem Vetus maybe? — to consider making something like this next year for Halloween:

Zombie candy corn! I waaaaaant!! (For what, I don’t know, but I still want it.)

    • Zombie Candy Corn reminded me of those crazy egg freebies over at RDNA that Mortem Vetus did.

Tate has a similar style, like the free mummy figure.

And thanks; I’ll have a good time. After the crazy crowds of the festival — we’re talking tens of thousands of people crammed into a small area — we just sit around and relax. Watch the stars while sitting by a fire. Read lots of books. Eat too much, ha!
